Gotta Have FAITH: Freshman Phenom Starts Season Strong
Plainfield East High School freshman Faith Suggs has started her highly anticipated inaugural
season off strong leading the Bengals to a 7-3 record. Suggs is a 6’0 match-up nightmare; she has range out to the 3-point line and has the ability to post up as well. “When people ask me what position Faith plays, I always say the 12,345th position, she can play them all and do it all,” says Matt Miller. Midwestrecruitingreport.com says: “Suggs is a lanky slasher showing good explosiveness towards the rim. Established good position on the block and has an excellent face-up game. Fundamental defender who can guard multiple positions. Exhibited good ballhandling skills, especially transition.” Currently Suggs is averaging 13.7 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assist a game.
